Doulas are for you and your family. They provide continuous support throughout your entire labour and birth experience. Doulas will help to educate and inform you on best practices, evidence-based research, and how to be an advocate for yourself and your family. We provide comfort measures to lessen the need for pain medications, instruments, and interventions. Doulas can perform a multitude of tasks including: helping you prepare for the birth you desire, carrying out your birth wishes, providing support to your partner, and sharing great birth and postpartum resources. We can provide comfort techniques that go beyond the physical such as, preparing and reading affirmation cards during labour, helping you through visualization exercises that aid in ease of birth, and offering any personal calming techniques for you. However, these basic tasks are the bare minimum of what Doulas can do! We also provide a warm heart and loving hands. We stand with you, love you, trust you, and believe in the power and safety of childbirth.

Three 1 hour Prenatal Support sessions that will explore and plan for all things birth and postpartum! The Prenatal package honours families who are wishing to walk their journey with no in person doula support during labor and delivery. Take time to plan and dive into any questions, concerns or fears you may have regarding this next part of your family’s journey
One or Two prenatal visits where we will explore your birth wishes (including where you wish to give birth), concerns, and fears. Your prenatal visits will be a chance for you to decide and describe your specific needs and wants and what you want my role as your doula to look like. You will receive in person labour support from the moment you need me until 1-2 hours after your baby is born.
